Two CT Men Killed In Same City In Separate Shootings Hours Apart, Police Say
Police in one Connecticut city are investigating two homicides that occurred in one day.
Hartford Police said two men were killed in separate incidents on Thursday, Feb. 17 in different parts of the city.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, the first incident took place around 1 p.m., when officers responded to the area of 271 Franklin Ave., where they found an unresponsive gunshot victim on the sidewalk.
The man, identified as Christian Feliciano, 20, of Hartford, was pronounced dead after lifesaving efforts failed, Boisvert said.

Police in Connecticut are investigating two shootings that left a 22-year-old man dead and two others wounded.
At around 1:50 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18, police responded to the area of 614 Albany Ave., in Hartford for a Shot Spotter activation, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police.
Minutes later officers were dispatched to a second Shot Spotter activation at 152 Mather St., Boisvert said.

Man Calling Himself 'Lucifer' Arrested For Murder In Fairfield County Store, Police Say
A Fairfield County man who called himself Lucifer has been arrested for allegedly killing a man and then robbing him after he was dead.
Luis Morales, age 31, of Bridgeport was arrested late Thursday evening, Dec. 16, for the shooting death of 23-year-old Clinton Taylor, at a local store earlier in the night, said the Bridgeport Police.
According to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, the shooting took place around 9:15 p.m. at Sammy's Grocery & Dollar Store, at 500 Park Ave.
Taylor is the grandson of former Bridgeport city councilwoman Denese Taylor-Moye.

Man Charged For Broad-Daylight Shooting Putting Dozens In Danger In Fairfield County
After a months-long investigation, a Fairfield County man has been arrested for an alleged dangerous daytime shooting that put dozens of residents in jeopardy.
Kenneth Jeffries, age 25, of Norwalk, was arrested Friday, Dec. 10, for the Tuesday, Sept. 7 stalking shooting on Summer Street in Stamford.
According to Capt. Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police, Jeffries fired five gunshots at two men walking in the parking lot at 920 Summer St. around 3:30 p.m.

Fairfield County Man Wanted For Murder, Surrenders To Police
A Fairfield County man wanted in connection with the murder of his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend has surrendered to police.
Miguel Rojas, age 28, of Bridgeport, surrendered to police to face charges in connection to the Friday, Dec. 3 homicide of Jalen Parilla, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency management for Bridgeport.
According to witnesses, Rojas, who has two children with his ex-girlfriend, shot Parilla, age 37, of Stratford.
After the shooting, Parilla was rushed to Saint Vincent's Hospital where he died a short time later.

Fairfield County Man Who Fired Shots Near Youth Baseball Game Nabbed, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly firing multiple gunshots just feet away from a youth baseball game earlier this year, causing a large crowd of children and adults to run for safety.
Julian Geter, age 34, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 19, and charged with:
Reckless endangerment
Risk of injury to a minor
Criminal possession of a firearm
Illegal discharge of a weapon
Geter, a convicted felon, is being held on a $500,000 bond.
During a court hearing in Bridgeport, Superior Court Judge Tracy Lee Dayton called Geter "a danger to the community."
