Shooting Suspect Arrested For Drive-By Shooting That Prompted Lockdowns At Three CT Schools A 20-year-old suspect has been arrested for an alleged drive-by shooting that led to lockdowns at three Connecticut schools, authorities announced. On Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Hartford County, the Rocky Hill School District placed three schools in “soft lockdowns” after there were reports of shots fired from one vehicle towards a second at approximately noon in the area of Orchard Street and Textbook Avenue. Man Charged For Fatal Shooting Outside Lounge In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been charged with the murder of another man outside an area lounge. Robert Sorrells, age 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 21 for the murder of Jonathan DaSilva, according to Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management.  Bridgeport Police Det. Robert Winkler obtained an arrest warrant for Sorrells, charging him with fatally shooting DaSilva earlier this month outside of the VIP Lounge on Pembroke Street, Appleby said. Man Nabbed For $83K ATM Robbery In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man has been nabbed for allegedly robbing an ATM service worker of more than $83,000 earlier this year. On Monday, June 7, an ATM service provider employee was the victim of a robbery that occurred at the Sunoco Gas Station, 1025 East Main St., Bridgeport.
