A Connecticut man is facing multiple felony charges after police arrested him on allegations stemming from a disturbing incident reported late last year.
Rene Hernandez-Portillo, 36, of Westbrook, was arrested on Mon., Jan. 20, and charged with several offenses, including voyeurism with malice, voyeurism with intent to arouse, first-degree sexual assault, and fourth-degree sexual assault, Connecticut State Police said.

A 39-year-old Connecticut man is facing felony charges after allegedly dismembering a dog that he took from its owner in Westchester, authorities said.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began on Friday, Dec. 6, when a 41-year-old New Rochelle man reported to police that his dog had been taken and killed by an acquaintance staying at his apartment, New Rochelle Police Captain J. Collins Coyne announced on Monday, Dec. 23.
