Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Armed Robbery Of Shell Station
A Fairfield County man was apprehended for an alleged armed robbery of a gas station with help from surveillance video.
Torik Baldwin, age 45, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 29, following the robbery at the Fairfield Shell station located at 1139 Post Road.
According to Sergeant Michael Stahl, of the Fairfield Police, officers responded to the store around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27 for a report of an armed robbery.

Dozens of animals were rescued from a Fairfield County home following reports of a cruelty incident, police announced.
Chief Robert Kalamaras reported that the Fairfield Police and Animal Control rescued over 80 animals from a home on Churchill Street shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, by members of the Fairfield Fire Department, who were assisting the resident of the home following a medical emergency.

A Fairfield County man has been issued a misdemeanor summons for "annoying" a woman at an area grocery store by asking her if she was free.
Claude Davis, age 48, of the Town of Fairfield, was charged on Wednesday, Nov. 17, with breach of peace after he allegedly grabbed the woman by her arm as she was walking into the Stop & Shop at 760 Villa Ave., in Fairfield.

A Fairfield County man was cited for allegedly serving alcohol to minors at a Halloween house party.
Sean Massey, age 49, of Fairfield, was arrested and issued misdemeanor summons on Saturday, Oct. 30, for serving alcohol to minors at a party at his home located on Davis Road, said Lt. Edward J. Weihe, of the Fairfield Police.
On Saturday, police were dispatched to Davis Road for the complaint of an underage party at the residence with alcohol involved, police said.

Man Accused Of Threatening To Shoot Fairfield County Restaurant Employee In Face
A man has been apprehended after he threatened to shoot a restaurant employee in Fairfield County in the face, police said.
Orlando Torres, age 55, of the Town of Fairfield, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 7, after police were called to the Southport Diner for reported harassing phone calls.
According to Lt. Eddie Weihe, of the Fairfield Police, Torres had been calling and harassing the employees at the restaurant located at 3350 Post Road.
