Alleged Kidnapping Leads To 6 Arrests, 3 Injured Officers In CT An alleged kidnapping of two people in Fairfield County led to six arrests and three injured officers. The incident occurred in Danbury at 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, in the area of Clapboard Ridge Road near Dogwood Lane.  According to Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department, police responded to a call reporting three men in a van assaulted another man before pushing him inside the vehicle and speeding away. Carjacking Suspect Nabbed After Pursuit, CT State Police Say A Fairfield County man was charged with armed carjacking after stealing a BMW sedan at gunpoint and then fleeing from state police. The incident began in Newtown around 10:55 a.m., Thursday, April 14, when state police were notified that an armed carjacking had just taken place. The vehicle was spotted by troopers traveling on I 84 east by Exit 14 in New Haven County in Southbury shortly after the incident occurred, Connecticut State Police said.
