Fairfield County Man Charged After Incident That Injured 2, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged in a domestic violence incident that injured two.
It happened in Easton around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at a home on Everett Road.
According to Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting a disturbance.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a fight had occurred between a man and woman, Doyle said.
The man, identified as Nicholas Testani, age 30, of Bridgeport, was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of two puncture wounds, police said.

The family of Gabby Petito has filed a notice of a $50 million lawsuit against a police department in Utah, accusing it of negligence in the 22-year-old Long Island native's death.
Petito, age 22, of Blue Point in Suffolk County, was strangled and beaten to death last year in Wyoming by her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, also from Blue Point, but who relocated to North Port, Florida.

Following additional charges filed against a Connecticut state trooper for alleged domestic violence, state officials released a statement saying the officer remained suspended.
Tolland County resident Trooper Jaime Solis, age 29, of Vernon, who was first arrested on Monday, Aug. 1, for allegedly beating a woman, was arrested again on Wednesday, Aug. 3, for up to 40 additional attacks, according to the Vernon Police.

A Connecticut state trooper has been suspended and placed on administrative leave following an alleged domestic violence arrest.
Tolland County resident Trooper Jaime Solis, age 29, of Vernon, was arrested at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 1, for domestic violence.
Upon arrival, Vernon Police located a victim with a head injury. The victim was brought to an area hospital by Vernon EMS, where they were treated for their injuries, said Lt. Robert Marra, of the Vernon Police Department.
