Shelton House Damaged In Fire Re-burned Due To Large Amount Of Fireworks Inside A controlled burn will be held inside a Connecticut residence that was damaged in a fire because of the large amount of fireworks discovered in the garage and basement, police announced.  The Fairfield County residence, located in Shelton at 7 Bruce Dr., was scheduled to be re-burned on Thursday, June 27, according to the Shelton Police Department.  The home was originally damaged in a blaze on Saturday, June 22 around 6:45 p.m., when a fire began inside the residence. House Fire Displaces 10 Residents, Dog In Norwalk Ten Fairfield County residents are in the care of the Red Cross after a house fire destroyed a two-story home with three apartments. The fire occurred in Norwalk during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 3 a 1 Center Ave. According to Norwalk Assistant Fire Chief Steve Chay, firefighters responded to a two-story house fire and found fire showing through the first-floor windows. Fire Breaks Out At Multi-Family Home In Fairfield County Nine people were left homeless following a fire that destroyed a multi-family residence in Fairfield County. The fire took place in Norwalk around 10:10 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 43 Lexington Ave. The fire started in the bedroom of the home and quickly spread to floors above, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Shay. There were nine occupants at home at the time of the fire and all escaped without injury, Shay said.
