Plane Missing Off Massachusetts Coast Located, Pilot Missing, State Police Say A plane that went missing off the coast of Massachusetts five days ago has been located, but the pilot is missing. The plane, a Piper PA-28, was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 31 around 10 p.m. after it had departed Reading, Pennsylvania, authorities said. Massachusetts State Police Cruiser Struck By Tractor-Trailer A Massachusetts state trooper was seriously injured after being struck by a tractor-trailer while protecting a road construction crew. The incident took place around 11:44 p.m., Tuesday, Sept.. 28 on I-95 southbound near its intersection with the Mass Pike in Weston in Middlesex County. According to Dave Procopio, of the state police, the trooper was inside his cruiser when it was struck.  "The trooper sustained serious injuries, but was alert and radioed in the crash himself," Procopio said.
