A 62-year-old Connecticut man was convicted this week of sexually assaulting a child for months more than a decade ago, authorities said. Heyward Curry, of Bridgeport in Fairfield County, was found guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 6, of three counts each of sexual assault in the first degree and risk of injury to a minor, the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice said. A 56-year-old Connecticut man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting and abusing an 8-year-old girl in Fairfield County, authorities said.
