Ex-Con Arrested In Deadly CT Bar Fight That Killed Popular 26-Year-Old Connecticut police announced a major break in a 2-year-old murder case this week after arresting the man they say pulled the trigger and killed a 26-year-old man.  Willie Jamel Thompson, age 47, of New Haven, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 8, without issue and charged with the murder of Julius Bolden-Lowe, East Haven police said. Man Accused Of Shooting Victim At Norwalk Home A Connecticut man has been charged in connection to a shooting at a home in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk in January at an East Norwalk home. According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, the victim was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and transported to Norwalk Hospital. Evarts said detectives were able to identify Raymond Dewitt, age 25, of New Haven, as the suspect. Officers responded to a report of shots fired in New Haven County at about 4:30 p.m. on May 27, according to the Hamden Police Department.
