“A sweet, smiling, confident young man” — that’s how friends and family described a college student from Pembroke, who died while out walking his dogs on New Year’s Eve. Callum Tomas DiCenso had just turned 20 when he suffered a cardiac arrest while walking his dogs, Piper and Kevin, on Sunday, Dec. 31. Man Rushed To Hospital After Nearly Drowning In Fairfield County
A man was pulled from a popular lake after first responders in Fairfield County were dispatched for a report of a drowning. The incident took place in Brookfield around 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 16, when Brookfield Fire and EMS were dispatched to Blueberry Island for a reported drowning on Candlewood Lake, the department said. Crews responded to the island and found an unknown-aged man in cardiac arrest, the department added. Upon arriving at the island EMTs and paramedics immediately began life-saving measures. State Police Investigating Untimely Death Of CT Man
State Police are investigating the untimely death of a Connecticut man. The incident took place in New Haven County in Oxford just before midnight on Monday, June 20. Officers from the Oxford Resident Trooper’s office and emergency services responded to 21 Pawnee Road for a man in cardiac arrest, said state police. Upon the arrival of first responders, the man was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said.
