Police are on the lookout for the person (or people) responsible for two separate car break-ins that occurred on the same night, just down the street from one another. Both burglaries occurred on Saturday, September 23 in the Fairfield County town of Darien, according to the Darien Police Department. Police are warning residents about confronting individuals attempting to break into their vehicles after a recent incident in Fairfield County. Most recently, in the overnight hours over the Memorial Day weekend, a homeowner in the town of Fairfield in the Reef Road area was confronted by someone attempting to break into his vehicle. Police are searching for two suspects who are accused of smashing 10 car windows overnight in a Connecticut neighborhood. Police said the car break-ins happened beginning at about 2 a.m. on Sunday, May 8, in the New Haven County town of Naugatuck. Police in a Connecticut town are alerting residents after more than a dozen vehicles were illegally entered, and several items were stolen, including a loaded handgun. The Wolcott Police Department in New Haven County reported on Monday, Feb. 7, that 14 vehicles were entered by a group of young people over the past weekend. The woman cashed checks in the Windham County Town of Killingly and the Mossup area, police reported.
