2 Dead Following Shootout In Bridgeport Two men are dead in Fairfield County following a shootout during a disagreement. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 2:45 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Carleton Avenue. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to the area after receiving ShotSpotter notification of shots fired.  Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 21-year-old New Haven County resident identified as Travis Bush of Ansonia, lying face down in the street on Carleton Avenue, Gilleran said.
