6-Year-Old Hit By Bus: Police Release New Details In Crash Update: The 6-year-old Connecticut boy who was hit by a school bus on Thursday, Oct. 3, remains in the hospital on Friday, but he is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In Danbury A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road. When officers arrived, they found the man in the roadway with serious injuries, said Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department. The victim has not yet been identified by police. One Killed In Fairfield County Two-Vehicle Crash, Police Say One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. It took place in Westport around 4:20 p.m., Monday, May 23 at 294 Saugatuck Ave. The first police and fire personnel to arrive found that two cars collided causing extensive damage to both, said Lt. David Wolf, of the Westport Police. Both drivers, the sole occupants of both vehicles, sustained injuries, Wolf said. An individual in one of the cars was conscious and able to speak with emergency responders, he said. That person was extricated by firefighters and transported to the hospital for treatment. …
