Andrea Neyra, a 37-year-old Darien woman, was found dead at a home in Middlefield on Saturday, Oct. 19, following a welfare check, authorities said. Police Searching For Hit-Run Driver Who Left Man In Critical Condition
A 66-year-old Connecticut man remains in critical essential after a car crashed into him in New London County and sped away, authorities said. Norwich Police said they received a 911 call around 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, about the crash at 655 East Main St. They found the main with serious wounds to his head and chest, but the car that hit him was long gone. Man Killed After Crashing Into Tree
A Connecticut man was killed when his car left the road and collided with a tree in Tolland County, authorities said. Paul Butcher, 80, of Taftville, was killed just before 12:30 p.m. when his car went off the side of Turnpike Road in Willington and hit a tree on the left shoulder of the road near Moose Meadow Road, Connecticut State Police said. Paramedics took Butcher to Rockville Hospital in Vernon, where doctors pronounced him dead. Police are investigating the crash.
