6 Hospitalized Including Responders In Dramatic Icy Pond Rescue In Manchester: Officials Manchester firefighters pulled off a dramatic cold-water rescue Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 31, after an adult and two young children fell through the ice on a pond. The incident occurred at 2:11 p.m. behind 218 Hackmatack Street, according to the Manchester Fire Department.
