A 19-year-old man is facing a host of charges after allegedly leading troopers on a 30-mile highway pursuit through eastern Connecticut. The incident began in New London County, on northbound I-395 in Griswold, when someone called 911 saying another driver had displayed a gun during a road rage incident at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Drunk, Machete-Carrying Driver Among Duo Nabbed In CT Traffic Stop, Police Say
A suspected drunk driver was among two men reportedly carrying machetes who were arrested following a highway traffic stop in Connecticut, police said. Connecticut State Police said parkgoers in Tolland County called 911 at around 3 p.m. Monday, July 15, about two men seen carrying machetes and stumbling in a wooded area in Columbia, near Recreation Fields on Hennequin Road.
