A 31-year-old man was arrested on a myriad of charges after he allegedly kidnapped a woman, drove under the influence, hit an ambulance, and drove off, leading to a police chase. The Hartford County series of events took place on Thursday, June 6 in East Windsor. According to the Connecticut State Police, 31-year-old Ryan Gilbert was driving on the Exit 44 ramp merging onto I-91 southbound. IDs Released For Man, Woman Charged After Larceny At Westport Stop & Shop, Crash
The identities have been released of a man and woman along with the charges they are facing after a report of larceny in progress at a Stop & Shop in Fairfield County was followed by a crash. At about 1:50 p.m. Friday, May 31 in Westport, officers were dispatched to the supermarket at 1790 Post Road East after the report. Duo Busted In Darien For Road Racing After Crashing, Police Say
Two Fairfield County men were busted for alleged road racing after two crashes. The incident occurred in Darien on Friday, May 17, on Post Road. According to Lt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, officers responded to the area of Post Rd near Hillside Ave for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles that were witnessed racing each other.
