22-Year-Old CT Man Killed In Bronx Double Murder; Police Searching For Shooter Authorities in New York City have identified a 22-year-old Connecticut man as one of the two victims gunned down in an early morning shooting in the Bronx.  Gabriel Alvarez, of Stratford, was killed in the Throggs Neck neighborhood on Monday, July 28, according to a press release from the New York City Police Department. CT Teen Charged As Adult In Fatal Moped Hit-Run Crash Police have arrested a 16-year-old and charged him as an adult after they say he fatally crashed into a 25-year-old father and sped away, authorities said.  Antony Gutierrez Silva, 16, was behind the wheel of the car that struck Juan Otilio Tista Tista around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, near Post Road and South Benson Road in Fairfield, police said.  Silva drove away from the crash without helping, but police soon tracked him down to his Bridgeport home.  Tista Tista died at an area hospital soon after the crash.  Tista Tista, a 25-year-old Bridgeport husband and fat…

Husband, Father ID'd As Rider Killed In Hit-Run Crash Authorities have identified the 25-year-old Bridgeport man who was struck and killed while riding his moped in Fairfield over the weekend as Juan Otilio Tista Tista, a husband and father. Tista Tista was riding on Post Road near South Benson Road around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene, Fairfield police said. Friends said he was driving home from work when the crash happened.  Emergency responders transported Tista Tista to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. CT Hit-Run Crash: Police Warn Driver As Victim Fights For Life Police are urging a hit-and-run driver to come forward after a crash left a moped rider in critical condition Monday night, May 26.  Around 9:12 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Ash Street and North Street in Willimantic after reports of a serious crash between a moped and a pickup truck. 65-Year-Old Killed In CT 2-Vehicle Crash A Connecticut resident was killed after he allegedly hit another vehicle, police said. The crash occurred in New Haven County on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the area of 1061 Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Milford.
