CT Woman Accused In Child Sex Trafficking Operation Tied To Online App Authorities say a Connecticut woman was part of a ring that trafficked multiple women, including minors, following a months-long investigation.  Shai Broaden, 23, is charged with two counts of trafficking in persons and one count of risk of injury to a minor, according to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert. Officers arrested her on Wednesday, March 18.  The case centers on an investigation that began in September 2025.
