Bicyclist, 24, Killed After Crash With Garbage Truck In New Haven A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed early Thursday morning, Oct. 17, after being hit by a garbage truck in New Haven County, authorities said.  Police responded to the crash a little after 2 a.m. at the Church Street and North Frontage Road intersection in New Haven.  Officers found the 24-year-old New Haven man with life-threatening injuries, and paramedics rushed him to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he died of his wounds. 30-Year-Old Dies In Danbury Crash With Garbage Truck A Connecticut man was killed following a crash with a garbage truck in Fairfield County. New Haven County resident Carlos Davila, age 30, of Ansonia, was killed around 6 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, in the area of 14 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police, Davila was driving a motorcycle when the crash occurred with a garbage truck. He was transported to Danbury Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Henry said.
