5-Year-Old Boy Remains In Critical Condition After Near Drowning In River A 5-year-old boy who was pulled from the Connecticut River in Middlesex County this weekend remained in critical condition a day later, authorities said.  Police were called to a stretch of the river near Landing Road in Haddam on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, when the boy and a man fell from a kayak into the water, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said.  Responders took the child to Middlesex Hospital, but doctors had the boy airlifted to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford in critical condition.  WTNH reported the child was …

6-Year-Old Hit By Bus: Police Release New Details In Crash Update: The 6-year-old Connecticut boy who was hit by a school bus on Thursday, Oct. 3, remains in the hospital on Friday, but he is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. Toddler Who Wandered Out Of CT Laundromat Killed By Hit-Run Driver, Police Say An alleged hit-and-run driver killed a 1-and-a-half-year-old girl after wandering outside of a Connecticut laundromat. The incident occurred in Hartford around 11 p.m., Monday, June 3, in the area of 36 New Britain Ave. According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police, officers responded to the area after the department received numerous 911 calls reporting a toddler struck by a vehicle.
