Motorcyclist Killed In Multi-Car Crash In New London A 45-year-old man was killed during the weekend when he was involved in a three-vehicle crash in New London County, authorities said.  Curtis Barkdull, of Sturgis, South Dakota, was riding a motorcycle near Colman and Vauxhall Streets in New London around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, when he and two sedans crashed, authorities said.  Details about what happened are scant, but everyone involved sustained injuries, with four people being hospitalized at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, New London Police said.  Barkdull later died at the hospital.  New London Polic…

CT 9th-Grader Killed In Head-On Crash A Connecticut ninth-grade student was killed after crashing his dirt bike into another vehicle. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in Suffield in the area of Cooper Hill Road at Woods Hollow Road. According to Capt. CT Woman Nabbed In Fatal Hit-Run Crash Police captured a 45-year-old Connecticut woman for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 47-year-old woman. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 10 p.m., Friday, in the area of Main Street and Boston Avenue in East Haven. East Haven Police said Gina LaVacca, of East Haven, was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a sedan that fled the area.
