The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Friday that GM is recalling multiple models and vehicles due to the issue. The collision occurred in Hartford County around 11:20 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the northbound lane south of Exit 38 in Windsor. According to Connecticut State Police, Jonathan Scott Schlagel, of Enfield, was driving a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS when he hit the rear of a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500. New Haven County resident Michael Arthur Miller, of East Haven, died around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, in Oxford. According to the Connecticut State Police, Miller was riding his Harley-Davidson FLHT Classic eastbound on Silano Drive when he entered the Route 188 intersection and was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck traveling southbound. The crash occurred in New Haven County around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, near 1650 Hartford Turnpike in North Haven.
