Shortly after police in Connecticut arrested a 15-year-old after accusing him of making a hoax shooting threat against a high school in New Haven County, officers received another message of violence, authorities said. The teenager is accused of making a social media post around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, that claimed there would be a shooting at Crosby High School in Waterbury, police said. Police in Fairfield County are investigating and searching for a suspect after a person was shot and seriously injured on a city street. The incident occurred in Norwalk at around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the area of Strawberry Hill Avenue and Catalpa Street. According to Norwalk Police Officer Sgt. Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an "incident." The Norwalk Police Department is seeking the man's identity who was involved in an incident in Norwalk on Saturday, Aug. 26. Norwalk Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts described the man as a light-skinned Black man, 5-foot-7, 220 to 240 pounds, bald, and clean-shaven. A 34-year-old Connecticut man is being held on bond after allegedly threatening a victim with a rubber bullet shotgun at a hotel. New Haven County resident Jason Jacobs, of Milford, was charged on Monday, Sept. 2, at the Red Roof Inn at 10 Rowe Ave., in Milford. Two alleged professional shoplifters were nabbed by police in a Connecticut Marshalls after police received a tip.
