Moosup Man Pulled From Burning Car After Crash In Sterling Dies at Hospital
A 42-year-old Connecticut man was killed on Wednesday evening, Feb. 19, when he lost control of his sedan and slammed into a utility pole in Windham County, authorities said. Michael Ryan Theriault, of Moosup, was behind the wheel of a Nissan Altima heading south on Ekonk Hill Road (Route 49) in Sterling around 5:30 p.m. when his car left the road and hit the utility pole, Connecticut State Police said. The sedan came to rest in a ditch and burst into flames. A Good Samaritan pulled Theriault from the vehicle before the fire began. Paramedics rushed him to Plainfield Backus Emergency Care …

CT Man Killed After Crashing Into Utility Pole
A 60-year-old Connecticut man died in a single-car crash after his vehicle veered off the road and slammed into a utility pole, authorities said. The Manchester resident, whose name has not been released, crashed around 10:30 a.m. near 138 W. Center St. in Manchester. First responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Manchester police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

A woman was killed after a single-vehicle car crash in Connecticut. It happened in Windham County at around 10:15 a.m. Friday, July 12, in the town of Woodstock.
