Police ID CT Man Killed In Pick-Up Truck Crash As 57-Year-Old A Connecticut man has died after a pickup truck crash in Enfield, police said. Michael Swart, 57, was involved in a crash on Tuesday morning, Oct. 28, on Douglas Road, Enfield police said. He was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado.  Paramedics took Swart to Johnson Memorial Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead hours later. The crash remains under investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer P. Nisyrios at 860-763-8985.

Motorcyclist, 21, Critically Hurt in CT Crash — Police Asking for Information A 21-year-old woman is battling for her life after being involved in a crash with a vehicle Friday afternoon, April 18.  The collision happened near 305 South Main Street in Manchester, a well-traveled stretch in town around 1:10 p.m. According to Manchester Police, a 73-year-old man was driving south on South Main when he collided with a 21-year-old woman from East Hartford riding a motorcycle northbound. 36-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle CT Crash A 36-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash. The collision occurred in New Haven County around 3:40 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, at East Main Street and Paddock Avenue in Meriden. According to Sgt. Michael Boothroyd of the Meriden Police, Juan Cruz of Meriden, who was driving an orange HondaCBR600 motorcycle, was found lying on the roadway when officers responded to the scene.
