Infant Suffered 58 Rib Fractures, Brain Bleed In Suspected Abuse Case In Pomfret: Police A 22-year-old Connecticut man was arrested this week after a baby girl he lived with was taken to the hospital with 58 rib fractures, bleeding on her brain, and a traumatic brain injury that could cause major impairments for the rest of her life, authorities said.  Zachary Beausoleil, of Pomfret in Windham County, is charged with risk of injury to a minor, Connecticut State Police said.  Police began investigating after Beausoleil and a woman brought a month-old baby to the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam in August 2023.
