Decorated Army Veteran Remembered After Drowning Off Fire Island
A Wyandanch native who drowned at Sailors Haven on Fire Island is being remembered as a decorated combat veteran and kind soul who dedicated his life to service, friends told Daily Voice on Sunday, Aug. 24. Ishmoile Mohammed, 59, died after being pulled from a rip current at Sailors Haven on Saturday, Aug. 23, Suffolk County police previously announced. Equipment Failure Disrupts Newark Airport Air Traffic Control — Again
