Motorcyclist Killed After Truck Makes Illegal U-Turn On I-91: Police A deadly crash on I-91 North in Longmeadow is under investigation after a pickup truck reportedly made an illegal U-turn in a construction zone, setting off a chain of events that ended in tragedy. The crash happened near the .8-mile marker around 8:47 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12. According to investigators, a 2023 Ford Maverick pickup was traveling south in construction-related traffic when it used an emergency turnaround to make a U-turn and head north. 4 Hospitalized After Car Careens Off I-91 Near CT State Line Authorities are asking drivers to be careful after the second major crash happened on I-91 in Longmeadow in 48 hours.  The most recent crash happened Tuesday afternoon, July 1, when a car left the interstate near the Connecticut state line and rolled over into a tree, Longmeadow firefighters said.  All four people inside were taken to area hospitals. The car was shredded in the crash, but miraculously, no one suffered any life-threatening injuries.  This is the second serious crash in Longmeadow in as many days.

The recall covers any small or large sub, 30-inch Super Sub, wrap, or panini made fresh at the deli counter, the Food and Drug Administration said. The sandwiches weren't prepackaged and were made on Tuesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 21.
