US Magistrate Judge Edwin Torres declined on Wednesday, May 27, to immediately jail Hudson while he awaits trial in Miami federal court. Body Of 14-Year-Old Found At Western Mass Pond; Presumed Drowned Police are investigating after a 14-year-old was found unresponsive at Benedict Pond in Berkshire County, authorities said.  Great Barrington police were called to the Beartown State Forest recreation area just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, after the child was found unresponsive in the water, officials said. Building Closed In CT After Grenade-Like Device Found A Connecticut public works facility is temporarily closed after a grenade-like object was found in the entrance roadway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, on North Division Street in Ansonia. According to Ansonia Public Works, public works employees found the object in the grass along the entrance road to the complex. Ansonia Fire Marshall Darrick Lundeen assisted in the investigation, and the Connecticut State Police are currently assessing the object, the department said.
