CT Man Guilty Of Gunning Down Teen Days Before His High School Graduation: State A Connecticut jury has found a New Haven man guilty in the drive-by murder of a teenager just days before he was set to graduate from high school, authorities said. Lamont Quadir Smith-Reed, 22, was convicted of the 2021 killing of 18-year-old Semaj Reddick-Streater of Hamden, the state prosecutor’s office said. The jury also found him guilty of conspiring to commit murder. Reddick-Streater was shot outside the Minute Mart convenience store at 280 Circular Ave. in Hamden on May 30, 2021, police said. Mom, Infant Son Gunned Down In CT Drive-By, Shooter Arrested In Puerto Rico: Police A 23-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a young mother and her infant son in Connecticut was arrested in Puerto Rico, authorities announced. Lance Morales, the suspect in the drive-by shooting that killed 20-year-old Jessiah Mercado and her 4-month-old son, Messiah Diaz, was taken into custody Saturday, Nov. 23, by the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, the Marshal Service said.  He was found at a home in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and is being held on a $3 million bond. CT Man Gets 55 Years In Jail For Fatal Shooting After Girlfriend Testifies: State A 27-year-old Connecticut man will be 82 when he is released from prison after being sentenced to more than five decades behind bars for a fatal drive-by shooting, state authorities said.  Jermaine Scott, of Stamford, who was found guilty of murder during the summer, was sentenced to 55 years in prison on Tuesday, Nov. 12, said Stamford/Norwalk State’s Attorney Paul J.
