A 56-year-old Westchester County woman was found dead inside an uncovered manhole in Midtown Manhattan late Monday night, May 18, police said. The incident happened at around 11:19 p.m. on Monday in front of 653 Fifth Ave., within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct, the NYPD told Daily Voice. The body of Anne Marie Pappalardo, 61, of Mansfield, was found in a wooded area of Chaplin on Friday, April 24, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said. Authorities have identified the 56-year-old who was found dead behind a New London store on Christmas Eve.
