The college basketball world is mourning the loss of a 20-year-old player who died shortly after being shot in a senseless act of violence. Andre Bell, a 20-year-old forward at Fisk University in Nashville, was shot in the city on Sunday, Jan. 11, around 8 p.m. on I-65 North near the I-40 interchange as Bell drove his white Nissan Sentra back to campus with two friends. A 2-year-old boy has died following what a Connecticut mayor described as a “tragic accident,” after he choked on food at a YWCA daycare. Administrators at New Britain YWCA called 911 around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, for reports of a toddler choking. A 9-year-old girl lost much of her right hand after being attacked by a shark on a Florida beach. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon, June 11, off the coast of Boca Grande on Florida's Gulf Coast. A Connecticut firefighter who was killed when the ATV he was on rolled over while battling a blaze has been identified as a grandfather and former member of the Hartford Fire Department. A Connecticut ninth-grade student was killed after crashing his dirt bike into another vehicle. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in Suffield in the area of Cooper Hill Road at Woods Hollow Road. According to Capt.
