6-Year-Old Dies After Baseball Bat Attack: Police A 6-year-old boy who was beaten into critical condition along with his 4-year-old sibling and mother has died, authorities announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.  The attack happened at a Fairfield County apartment in the 2400 block of Main St. in Bridgeport on Wednesday, Sept. 25, authorities said. Jeffrey Farr, age 74, of San Diego, who Norwalk Police wanted, was arrested by US Marshals and Norwalk officers at his California home on Thursday, July 25. Farr is accused of sexually assaulting a family member, said Sgt. Ryan Evart of the Norwalk Police.
