Mass DA's Stepdaughter Killed In Suspected Colorado Homicide: 'We Are Heartbroken' A man from Colorado has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of the 32-year-old stepdaughter of Berkshire County District Attorney Timothy J. Shugrue. Jordan Elizabeth LaBarre was killed on July 7 inside a home in Blue River, a small mountain town near Breckenridge, Colorado. Police were called to the house around 6:20 p.m. after neighbors reported hearing gunshots, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said. Mass Woman Was Intoxicated When She Crashed Into State Trooper On I-90, Sped Away: DA A 32-year-old woman accused of seriously injuring a Massachusetts State trooper when she crashed into him on I-90 and drove off was intoxicated at the time of the crash, authorities said.  Naisha Rodriguez, 32, of Springfield, faces multiple charges following the early morning crash on Tuesday, June 10, in the westbound lanes in Chicopee, the Hampden District Attorney said.  The trooper was performing a traffic stop around 2:20 a.m. Exit 51 in Chicopee when a car slammed into them. Body of Missing Kayaker Recovered In CT River After 2-Week Search: 'Our Family Is Heartbroken' Searchers have recovered the body of a 27-year-old kayaker who fell into the Connecticut River earlier this month when his craft capsized while fishing with his girlfriend, authorities said. Niklas Delisle, of Chicopee, went missing on May 19 after falling into the water south of the Holyoke Dam. His body was recovered on Friday, May 30, according to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office. A fisherman who witnessed the kayak capsize rescued Delisle’s girlfriend from the water, saving her from drowning. She was hospitalized after the incident. Chicopee Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal CT Hit-Run Crash A 40-year-old Hampden County woman was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash Wednesday night, June 19, in Hartford. The car that hit her was later found abandoned and on fire.  Lutricia Daniels, of Chicopee, was walking along Main Street at 11:55 p.m. when a Honda Accord slammed into her and sped away, Hartford police said.
