'X-Files' Composer Dies At CT Home At 78 Mark Snow, the famed television composer who conjured up the eerie and suspenseful theme music for "The X-Files," died at his Connecticut home on Friday, July 4, according to Variety.  The Juilliard School-trained composer and musician was 78.  Snow was a longtime television composer who had his hands on dozens of television shows over his nearly 50-year career, according to IMDB. Boardwalk Empire Actor Devin Harjes Dies In NY At Age 41 Actor Devin Harjes, who appeared in several popular TV shows, has died. He was 41. His death, in New York City, was announced on his website. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he died on Tuesday, May 27 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan from an illness after being diagnosed with cancer in February. He was best known for his role as boxer Jack Dempsey on HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
