Temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees below normal Tuesday, April 8, AccuWeather Meteorologist Alex DaSilva said.

While the surge of Arctic air from Canada maintains its grip, a period of unsettled days —marked by rain, showers, and even snow in some interior spots — will end, the National Weather Service says.

Morning clouds will be followed by gradual clearing and then mostly sunny skies. But even with the sunshine, it will feel even colder due to wind chills caused by gusts between 30 and 40 mph out of the northwest.

It will remain sunny with temps still below normal on Wednesday, April 9.

Clouds return Thursday, April 10, and Friday, April 11, with temperatures finally reaching seasonable levels. Showers are possible Thursday and likely Friday.

It will remain cloudy on Saturday, April 12, with a chance of some more showers.
