1 Killed, Another Hospitalized In Fiery CT Crash Police are investigating a fatal crash on a Connecticut roadway overnight, It happened around 7:40 p.m. in Fairfield County on Route 58 in Easton. Easton PD Chief Richard Doyle says the department received several 911 calls reporting a serious two-car crash on the roadway south of Center Road. Upon arrival the police officers found one vehicle on fire and the other with serious damage. Report Of Grenade At Fairfield County School Sparks Response From Bomb Squad Classes at a Connecticut school were interrupted after someone discovered what appeared to be a grenade on campus. Emergency crews in Fairfield County were called shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, after the device was found outside the Middlebrook School in Wilton, near the school’s batting cages. Wilton Police said administrators placed the campus into a “secure” mode, and several classrooms located adjacent to the area were moved to a different part of the building.
