Officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Scofield Farm Road in Darien at about 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, the Darien Police Department reported on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The driver, identified as Sebastian Urrea, of Westport, told police he was lost and when he tried to make a U-turn, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility box, police reported.

A Fairfield County restaurant had its liquor license suspended following a shooting during a large fight.
Wafu Asian Bistro at 3671 Post Road in Southport, a hamlet of the Town of Fairfield, had the license suspended by the state Consumer Protection Commission following the event that took place on Sunday, June 19.
According to DCP, the suspension was based on a complaint from the Fairfield Police Department, regarding a "brawl," that took place at the restaurant and ended with one person being shot.

CT Teens Fleeing Liquor Store Theft Crash Into Home, Cars, Police Say
Two Connecticut teens were charged after they allegedly stole from a liquor store and then crashed into two vehicles and a mobile home while attempting to escape police capture.
The incident took place in Hartford County around noon, Monday, Jan. 17, in Southington.
Officers responded to a call from Queen Street Liquors at 1079 Queen St. on a report of a theft from the package store.

Fairfield County Man Accused Of Serving Alcohol To Minors At House Party, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was cited for allegedly serving alcohol to minors at a Halloween house party.
Sean Massey, age 49, of Fairfield, was arrested and issued misdemeanor summons on Saturday, Oct. 30, for serving alcohol to minors at a party at his home located on Davis Road, said Lt. Edward J. Weihe, of the Fairfield Police.
On Saturday, police were dispatched to Davis Road for the complaint of an underage party at the residence with alcohol involved, police said.

CT Woman Arrested For Allegedly Letting Minors Have Alcohol In Her Home
A Connecticut woman has been arrested for allegedly allowing minors to drink alcohol in her home.
Amy J. Cooper, 50, of Milford, turned herself in to Milford Police on Friday, Oct. 16, in regard to an active warrant for her arrest, police said.
On May 15, Cooper allegedly allowed people “minors” to be in possession of alcohol, police said. On May 19, Milford Police got a tip about the incident from Woodbridge Police. Upon investigation, police decided to press charges.
The official charge against Cooper is permitting a minor to illegally possess liquor, police said.
