Southington 21-Year-Old Zachary Swain Killed In Maine Crash A 21-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a crash in Maine. Hartford County resident Zachary Swain, of Southington and Marlborough, New Hampshire, died around 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, on the Maine Turnpike. According to Shannon Moss, spokeswoman for the Maine State Police, troopers responded to the area of mile marker 32 southbound on the Maine Turnpike for a motorcycle crash.  An initial investigation shows that Swain was exiting the highway and failed to negotiate the curved southbound off-ramp, Moss said. New Update: Threat Of Gun Violence At CT High School Unfounded, Police Say A threat of gun violence at a Connecticut high school has been deemed unsubstantiated, according to officials. The incident took place in Hartford County at Southington High School early Thursday, Oct. 26 in Southington. According to Lt. Keith Egan of the Southington Police, the school received a call with a threat of gun violence inside the school. The call originated from an out-of-state number.
