The Enhanced Fujita Scale EF-0 tornado occurred around 4:10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, in the middle of a severe storm in Tolland County in the town of Coventry. The tornado, which reached speeds of 75 mph, traveled for nearly 80 yards before it died out, the weather service said.
