Police Officer Involved In CT Crash A Connecticut police officer received minor injuries during a two-car crash. The crash occurred in New Haven County when the Hamden officer was involved in a crash with another car around 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 11, in Hamden. The crash took place at the intersection of Evergreen Avenue and School Street, said Det. Sean Dolan, of the Hamden Police Department. The officer and driver of the other vehicle were both transported to the hospital with minor injuries, Dolan added.  There were no other passengers in the vehicles. The crash remains under investigation.

Tolland County resident Nhuong Nguyen, age 28, was killed around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Mansfield while walking in the crosswalk on South Eagleville Road, said the Connecticut State Police. Man Nabbed For DUI After Crash Causing Hours-Long I-91 Closure, CT State Police Say A major Connecticut roadway was shut down for more than two hours after an alleged drunk driver lost control of his tractor-trailer and smashed into several guide rails. The crash took place around 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13 in New Haven County on I-91 in Wallingford.
