A rabid bobcat was killed in Connecticut after attacking a family and their pet, officials said. Southbury Animal Control said that on Monday, Jan. 4, a bobcat attacked a dog and her two owners in the Purchase area, prompting one of the owners to kill it before it could do damage to the pet.
