Two Charged After Fight, Shots Fired At Diner In Fairfield County Two men were arrested for an alleged fight at a Fairfield County diner in which shots were fired. The incident took place in Danbury around 4 a.m., Sunday, July 24, at Elmer's Diner on Padanaram Road. Danbury Police officers responded to the diner for the report of a fight with gunshots being fired. Officers who responded to the area discovered a fight had occurred in the diner before their arrival, said Danbury PD Det. Capt. Mark Williams. Two Hospitalized After Crash In Fairfield County Two were hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a head-on collision near a busy Fairfield County intersection, police said. Police received a call at approximately 10:22 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, where there was a report of a major crash involving an Audi A4 and Suzuki sedan in Danbury in the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street.
