Caitlyn Jenner, a former Olympian and media personality, paid a visit to Long Island to publicly back a recent executive order banning transgender women from participating in women’s sports.
On Monday, March 18, the former Olympian, who came out as a trans woman in 2015, held a press conference alongside Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman in support of his polarizing transgender athlete ban.

Dean's List Student Killed In Crash Was HS Football Player In Fairfield County
The 22-year-old Fairfield County college student who died in a vehicle crash was a well-known football and rugby player.
Brandon Hensel, of Newtown, was killed around 5 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 28 on Toddy Hill Road in Newtown, according to police.
Hensel, who was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer, was discovered on a property on Quarry Ridge Road and was transported by Newtown Ambulance to Danbury Hospital where he died on Monday, March 1, said Newtown PD Lieutenant Aaron Bahamonde.
