A winning lottery ticket valued at $100,000 was sold at a Stop & Shop in Connecticut.
An unnamed West Hartford resident purchased the CASH5 Connecticut Lottery ticket at the grocery store, located at 1235 Farmington Ave. in West Hartford, CT Lottery reported on Monday, July 18.
CT Lottery also announced a number of other big winners, including:
New Britain resident Dereck Nunes Neto, who claimed a $77,143 prize from a Powerball ticket purchased at Casa Brasil in Hartford

Fairfield County Man Wins $300,000 In CT State Lottery
A Fairfield County man has claimed a $300,000 lottery prize.
Ronald Battaglia, of Stratford, won the prize from Connecticut Lottery's $1,000,000 Golden Riches game, CT Lottery announced on Thursday, July 7.
The winning ticket was purchased at Greenwich Cigar & Stationary, which is located at 91 Railroad Ave. in Greenwich, the lottery said.
CT Lottery also announced that an unnamed Trumbull resident claimed a $100,000 CASH5 prize from a ticket purchased at City Gas, located at 289 Huntington Turnpike in Bridgeport.

Danbury residents Terry Lionheart and her daughter, Amy Lionheart, claimed the 10X Cash 15th Edition prize on Friday, May 27, Connecticut Lottery announced on Friday, June 3.
CT Lottery said Terry and Amy typically go grocery shopping together at a major supermarket.

Lottery officials announced that in New London County on Monday, May 16, Westerly, Rhode Island resident Amede Leclair cashed in a top-prize winning "$50,000 50th Anniversary" ticket that was sold at Bestway Convenience on Liberty Street in Pawcatuck.

Hartford County resident Jatin Mistry, of Glastonbury, claimed the CASH5 prize on Thursday, May 5, according to an announcement from Connecticut State Lottery.
The ticket was purchased at CT Top Shelf Liquors 300 New Britain Road in Kensington.
