26-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Crash On CT Roadway A 26-year-old man was killed and two others seriously injured during a two-vehicle head-on crash on a Connecticut roadway. The crash took place in Windham County around 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 7 in the Town of Brooklyn on Route 6. According to the Connecticut State Police, a Chevrolet Colorado was traveling east on Route 6 when a Jeep Wrangler traveling in the opposite direction crossed over the double-yellow line and hit the Chevrolet head-on. The Darien Police Department received a report from a Stephen Mather Road resident who was woken up at 2:24 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16 to the sound of a car starting. Teen Nabbed For Stealing Vehicle In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for a 2019 incident in which he allegedly stole a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. According to Darien Police, in November 2019, a resident called police to report their vehicle was missing from their driveway, said Sgt. James Palmieri. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys inside, police said. Several days later, Darien Police were informed that the stolen vehicle had engaged Bridgeport Police in pursuit and the suspect had gotten away on foot.
