Woman Driving Under Influence Crashes On Bridge In Western Mass, Police Say A woman was allegedly intoxicated in Western Massachusetts when she blew past a “road closed” barricade and nearly made a splash landing off a bridge under construction, police said. In Franklin County, the crash happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19 in Greenfield on the General Pierce Bridge.
