A 16-year-old was arrested and charged after police said he entered a convenience store in Massachusetts with a loaded firearm. Officers in Berkshire County saw a teen wearing a black ski mask enter a convenience store on Francis Avenue in Pittsfield at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, according to the Pittsfield Police Department. The teen appeared to be carrying a handgun in his waistband, police said. Drive-By Shooting On Massachusetts Street Under Investigation, Police Say
Police in Western Massachusetts are searching for the person or people who fired shots on a city street, hitting a vehicle and an apartment building. The shooting took place around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, June 23 on Francis Avenue in Pittsfield, Lieutenant Michael Maddalena said. Arriving police units located ballistic evidence in the roadway and a parked vehicle had also been struck. Two Berkshire County Juveniles Nabbed With Guns, Drugs, Police Say
Two Western Mass juveniles have been arrested for alleged possession of firearms and illegal narcotics. According to Pittsfield Police, on Wednesday, May 26, police received word that a man was in possession of a gun at a residence on Francis Avenue in Pittsfield. Arriving officers initiated an investigation and determined that three males had fled the residence and engaged in suspicious activity as they traveled through nearby properties on foot, said Lieutenant Gary Traversa.
